Daniel was born in Valencia.
He began his trombone studies with Salvador Tarrasó and Rafael Polanco. He graduated at Valencia Conservatoire and he moved to London to study at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama with Eric Crees, Simon Wills, Peter Gane and John Kenny.
He has attended to master classes by Gilles Millière, Michel Becquet, Canadian Brass, John Wallace, Roger Bobo, Denis Wick, Ben van Dijk, Christian Lindberg and Joseph Alessi.
He has been a member of the Mediterranean Youth Orchestra, Spanish National Youth Orchestra, European Union Youth Orchestra and the Gustav Mahler Youth Orchestra. During this time he took part to europeans tours with conductors such as Sir Colin Davis, Bernard Haitink, Pierre Boulez, Kurt Masur and Carlo Maria Giulini.
He coached the Madrid Youth Orchestra, Catalan Youth Orchestra, Valencia Youth Orchestra, the Oviedo Youth Orchestra and the World Youth Orchestra. He has been in the brass panel of the Gustav Mahler Youth Orchestra auditions in Spain.
He has been a member of the jury at the “Christian Lindberg” International Trombone Competition.
Playing modern music he joined the Llibert Fortuny “XXL” Elèctric Big Band and Perico Sambeat “Flamenco Big Band”.
He has been playing with most of the Spanish orchestras and outside Spain with Mahler Chamber Orchestra, Mozart Orchestra and the Luzern Festival Orchestra conducted by Claudio Abbado.
As a soloist he has performed the Concerto for Trombone and Orchestra by Salvador Brotons with the Bilbao Symphony Orchestra.
And as a chamber musician he has played recitals with harp, trombone quartet, brass quintet and various brass ensembles.
From 2004 to 2010 he conducted the Brass Ensemble and taught Trombone Orchestral Repertoire at the Basque Country Conservatoire (Musikene) in San Sebastian.
Since 2000 from 2012 has been principal trombone of the Bilbao Symphony Orchestra.
Since 2003 he teaches trombone at the Aragón Conservatoire in Zaragoza (CSMA) and coaches the CSMA trombone choir.
Since 2006 he is also trombone professor at the Catalan High Music School (ESMUC) in Barcelona.
